About ISO FileMaker Magazine

In 1994/95, I [Matt Petrowsky] started ISO Productions. The first service ever offered by ISO was ISO FileMaker Magazine. It was hosted at the domain iso-ezine.com back then, and it covered any and all topics related to FileMaker Pro and its use as a development tool. The software was relatively new and very empowering. I was using FileMaker Pro personally to manage a T-shirt screen printing business while in college.

Wanting to know as much about FileMaker as possible, I started a small mailing list which quickly grew to over 4,000 subscribers. I managed this mailing list and a burgeoning web site, about FileMaker of course, while attending my last year of college. As my involvement with technology increased, I became more and more entranced by the empowering nature of FileMaker.

In 1997 I officially founded ISO Productions, Inc. and headed the company which created a wide array of products from CD's to technical books. Speaking of technical books, I had authored and self published a popular book about (take a guess) FileMaker Pro which can still be seen on Amazon.com.

Creating even more useful products about FileMaker seemed to be my destiny. I followed up the Scriptology book by creating a four CD set of learning disks called the Scriptology Developer's Toolkit. This was then followed up with other FileMaker related products and offerings, yet this magazine site is the true testament of my ongoing contribution to the world of FileMaker development. It continues to operate after many, many years of ongoing content creation about FileMaker Pro.

If you're interested in learning about some of my current contributions, outside of this very web site, you can find them here.

I'm glad you've found this site as part of your adventures in learning more about FileMaker Pro. Please feel free to provide me with feedback.
